And welcome to all those who made the long, hard transition from one website address to another in order to keep up with me.

As you can see, the blog looks a bit different from its former home. But believe me, I think this is better for all parties involved. For me, because it brings all my interests together into one space, and for you the reader, since everyone likes new and after years and years of going to the blogspot address, you have something new to look at. Besides the entire lifespan of posts ported over to this site, you’ll also notice I’ve got some fancy tech on the side: a live Twitter feed and an Instagram feed. One thing that slows up the blog posting is that I am more and more on Twitter all the time, and I also don’t know if it’s worth doing a whole blog post off a photo or two that I have taken. So it seemed smart to just flow those into the blog package and let you all keep up with me that way as well.

Now that I’ve got this new home setup, bear with me as I start to populate with new posts. It’s been a rough few months as I finished off school (more on that soon), and getting through that meant not only a slow few months in blogging but also a slower year. Before school I was averaging about 15-18 posts per month. That number is more like 5-6 now. Yikes, unacceptable.

But luckily things should start picking back up again. I’ve got a new idea for a series of posts (it has to do with movies, big surprise), and I’ve got the two most recent posts in my yearlong 10 Years of Remembering to polish up and post so I can get that important series back on schedule. Thanks for your patience, I hope you’ll find sticking around worth the trouble.
